Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 31 July 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or any services provided by Skyline IT & Cloud ("Skyline IT", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to follow these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. About Our Services

Skyline IT is a South African company group. Services are delivered through our companies, including Skyline IT & Cloud (websites, online stores, mobile apps, marketing, hosting), Mzansi Connect (smart devices and smart solutions), Circuit Forge Technologies (circuit board design, built-in computers, hardware test versions), StudySync (education technology), and VALOW. (a client brand for which we provide web services).

3. Quotes and Proposals

  • All quotes and proposals are valid for 30 days from the date they are sent, unless stated otherwise.
  • Quotes are based on the work described. Extra work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately.
  • No work begins until the proposal and quotation are accepted in writing by the client.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment terms are agreed in writing per project. The usual terms are a deposit before we start and the balance when the work is done.
  • Ongoing services (hosting, maintenance, support) are billed monthly or yearly as agreed.
  • Late payments may pause services until the outstanding amount is paid.

5. Client Obligations (What We Ask From You)

You agree to give us accurate information and quick feedback during projects. Delays caused by the client may push back delivery dates and are not the responsibility of Skyline IT.

6. Who Owns What (Intellectual Property)

  • Once you pay in full, you own the final work we deliver (websites, apps, designs, device software) for the agreed purpose.
  • Skyline IT keeps the right to reuse pieces of code, frameworks, and tools built during projects, unless agreed otherwise.
  • All Skyline IT branding, logos, and company names remain the property of Skyline IT.

7. Website Content and Information

While we try to keep things accurate, information on our website (including descriptions of products and services) is provided "as is" and may change without notice. We are not liable for errors or missing details in website content.

8. Other Services We Use

Some products rely on outside services (for example, Supabase, a data storage service, hosting providers, and payment providers). We are not responsible for the availability or behaviour of these outside services.

9. Limitation of Liability (What We Are Not Responsible For)

To the maximum extent allowed by South African law, Skyline IT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant service.

10. Hardware and Prototype Disclaimer

Products and test versions supplied by Mzansi Connect or Circuit Forge Technologies are provided "as is" for testing and use at your own risk, unless a formal warranty or service agreement is signed in writing.

11. Privacy

Your use of our services is also covered by our Privacy Policy. Please read it to understand how we handle your personal information.

12. Governing Law (Which Laws Apply)

These Terms and Conditions follow the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be settled in the courts of South Africa.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.

14. Contact
