1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or using any services provided by Skyline IT & Cloud ("Skyline IT", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. About Our Services

Skyline IT is a South African holding company. Services are delivered through our divisions and subsidiaries, including Skyline IT & Cloud (websites, e-commerce, mobile apps, SEO, cloud hosting), Mzansi Connect (IoT products and smart solutions), Circuit Forge Technologies (PCB design, embedded systems, hardware prototyping), StudySync (education technology), and VALOW. (a client brand for which we provide web services).

3. Quotes and Proposals

• All quotes and proposals are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless stated otherwise.
• Quotes are based on the scope described. Additional work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately.
• No work begins until the proposal and quotation are accepted in writing by the client.

4. Payment Terms

• Payment terms are agreed in writing per project. Typical terms are a deposit before commencement and the balance on completion.
• Ongoing services (hosting, maintenance, support) are billed monthly or annually as agreed.
• Late payments may result in a pause of services until the outstanding amount is settled.

5. Client Obligations

You agree to provide us with accurate information and prompt feedback during projects. Delays caused by the client may affect delivery dates and are not the responsibility of Skyline IT.

6. Intellectual Property

• Upon full payment, ownership of the final deliverables (websites, apps, designs, firmware) transfers to the client for the agreed purpose.
• Skyline IT retains ownership of reusable components, frameworks, and tooling developed during projects, unless otherwise agreed.
• All Skyline IT branding, logos, and subsidiary trademarks remain the property of Skyline IT.

7. Website Content and Information

While we strive for accuracy, information on our website (including descriptions of products and services) is provided "as is" and may change without notice. We are not liable for errors or omissions in website content.

8. Third-Party Services

Some products rely on third-party platforms (for example, Supabase, hosting providers, and payment providers). We are not responsible for the availability or behaviour of third-party services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Skyline IT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant service.

10. Hardware and Prototype Disclaimer

Products and prototypes supplied by Mzansi Connect or Circuit Forge Technologies are provided "as is" for evaluation and use at your own risk, unless a formal warranty or service level agreement is signed in writing.

11. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we handle your personal information.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
